So a little about me…First, I’m a good natured Texan, born and raised just outside of Houston, where I come from a very loving, sports-oriented family. Since graduating high school, my life has been anything but “normal”. I have attended seven colleges and universities in three different states, and along the way have earned two Master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology and Political Science. I currently reside in Louisville KY where I am working on finishing my dissertation for a PhD in Political Science from the University of Kentucky.
When I am not in school, I love to travel. I have probably been to more European countries than I have US states. During my travels, I have attended four foreign language schools (Spain, Italy, and two in Germany). I have also gotten to meet some very interesting people and have some incredible experiences along the way. It has been an amazing life thus far, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
As my academic studies are coming to a close, I am carefully considering my career options. Currently I am working with Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky as a patient and team member satisfaction consultant. My focus there is on organizational development projects where I can draw from my education and experiences in human behavior.
And a little about my blogs…I love all things strategy. The particular themes that I cover can change from post to post, but I am most attracted to issues of a business, political, social, or psychological nature. In fact, the more I have learned, the more I have come to realize that the basics of understanding in these domains are very similar, only the terminology really changes. If you like discussing strategy, this will be the blog to follow. I love to read other’s opinions so please leave comments!
